James Baroud Universal Tablet Holder — Screen within easy reach at the campsite

THE James Baroud universal tablet stand allows you to attach an iPad, Android tablet, or Kindle inside the Rooftop Tent. Adjustable clamp attachment to the tent structure, 360° ball joint to orient the screen as you wish: you watch a movie, you read in night mode, you manage a raid GPS without holding it in your hand for hours.

Universal: Compatible with tablets from 7" to 13" (12 to 22 cm wide). Flexible, articulated arm for precise positioning. Clamp locks securely with a knob—no falling during the night. Aluminum and high-density plastic construction with a James Baroud finish. Removes cleanly when not in use.

What is its intended use?

Camping night: a film on a tablet at eye level from the sleeping mat. Evening reading: a Kindle or e-reader positioned to avoid holding the device for hours. Trekking: OruxMaps or OsmAnd GPS navigation on a tablet, accessible during breaks without having to use it. With children: a cartoon before bedtime—a lifesaver for family evenings.

Installation and maintenance

Installation in 2 minutes: clamp to attach to a tent pole, adjust the orientation. Removal in 1 minute. Maintenance: clean with a soft cloth. Avoid prolonged UV exposure.

We also do use the pickup in the forest, with brushes and stumps on its ways. So, we decided to replace the original skid plates with something sturdier. Almont4WD skid plates are sturdier than the original, definitely! All vulnerable parts are covered, there is one plain level from front to back, with no screws sneaking and ready to be torn off. The parts are to mount easyly, and vehicle maintenance still is an easy job, too. Almont4WD is an excellent choice for the one who need the ultimate skid protection.
